Infrastructures | Braille Printing Center
Background
For years the printing of books and magazines in Braille, was done in tin or gelatin on the Stereotypical machine, and
then was reproduced on paper on the typographical machine of Haidemburg, which is today kept in the Tactual Museum
of the Lighthouse.
Since 1993, all books, magazines, handbooks, notes etc. printed in Braille, are printed with the
use of computers on Braille printers. [ see Braille Printing Department ]
