Departments - Ceramics - Sculpture Workshop
Objective
The objective of the workshop is the training of visually-impaired individuals in modern and traditional ceramic art,
the exploitation of the ceramics workshop and the promotion of the students’ work in exhibits and folk art shops.
Particular attention is given to the acquisition and cultivation of necessary dexterities as well as in the growth of
creativity and sensitivity of the students.
Training
The training program includes basic theoretical knowledge of traditional and modern ceramic techniques, how to use a pottery wheel, a press and a kiln, as well as techniques in making ceramic works of art.
