Description

Students' work The macramé department offers visually-impaired individuals of all ages the opportunity to be creative. Practising working with their hands and learning how to use touch is particularly important for the individuals who have recently lost their sight.

Lessons

Macramé lessons take place twice a week in the event hall at the Lighthouse.

Items that are made:

  • Hand Bags
  • Wallets
  • Belts
  • Decorations

they are sold at exhibits of folk art as well as during special events of the Lighthouse for the Blind.
