The complexity of problems the Blind face does not leave room for quick solutions. Each attempt to confront the specifics of Blindness, must be effective but also lasting.

Since 1946, the constant concern of all administrations of the Lighthouse for the Blind has been the exploitation of its resources for the creation of permanent infrastructures for the education, work and support of visually-impaired individuals, as well as the selection of specialised staff to support them.

In this effort we were not alone. The contributions of our friends and supporters, from the public as well as private sector, have made it all possible.
