What are Interest Groups?
The interests groups of the Lighthouse for the Blind of Greece’s Website were designed in order to support the visually-impaired users of our site.All information received by and given to our website is addressed to one or more subject category. The user selects the group that interests him and is informed by reading whatever has been entered onto the site by the Lighthouse or other visitors to the site.
Creating a new Group
The interest groups are created by the Lighthouse for the Blind of Greece but also by the members of the website. The Lighthouse for the Blind reserves the right to disapprove the creation of a group which is proposed by a member, when it feels that it does not follow the intentions of the website, breaks the law, etc.
Group information data entry
Each group has information with regard to the object of interest, news, comments and opinions of visitors to the site, questions and answers of group members and accompanying material (files, texts, relative web sites). The data entry of all this information is processed by the Lighthouse for the Blind but also by the visitors of the Website. Access to the contents of each group and the inventory of its informative material is open to all the visitors of our Website.
