Description
The Lending Library Braille books is located on the 1st floor of the building in a space measuring roughly 100
m2.
It contains old and rare books in Braille, as well as copies of all Lighthouse for the Blind publications.
There are also books of ancient writers, scientific books, literature, music books, Foreign language books as well as the private Braille books of the distinguished blind pianist G. Themelis and the blind schoolteacher of Byzantine Music D. Chrysafidis.
In the library there is also an exhibit of old Braille typewriters, as well as an exhibit of embossed maps.
