Regards the ability of searching the Lighthouse Database, on which all the
information with regard to Braille books,
audio books (cassettes),
digital audio books, CDs, DVDs, etc, are registered, as well as the
technical aids
for visually-impaired individuals, etc.
You may search our Database even if you are not a member of our Website.
Submission of Orders
Gives the Members of our Website the ability to order online technical aids, Braille books, audio books (cassettes), digital audio books, CDs, DVDs in mp3 format or even of downloading digital audio books (MP3 format), when these are available.
Order Tracking
For better service we have an order tracking system to follow-up on orders that are registered in the system, whereby the user can see at which point their order is (if it was received, if it was posted, etc).
Lighthouse's Archiving System
Includes electronic files (handbooks, notes etc), that were created by the staff, the volunteers and collaborators of the Lighthouse for the Blind in the last fifteen years of its operation. The list of files is available for download to all the visitors of our Website. The visitors can, after consensus by the Lighthouse, send their own files which they consider can be useful for visually-impaired individuals.
