Background
The Boarding House of the Lighthouse for the Blind of Greece, is included in the framework of the operation of the Training and Rehabilitation Centre for visually-impaired individuals, giving additional support to the individuals that will participate in the programs at the centre.
Operation
The Boarding House focuses mainly on newly-blind individuals from the suburbs, who wish to attend the intensive training programs of the Centre. The facility can put up of 4 individuals. Individuals will stay according to their date of application and its operation will be subject to regulations of residence. It is scheduled to be operating in September 2006.
